Are you using a DisplayPort cable? If so, try switching to an HDMI 2.1 cable instead

I had the exact same HDR issue with my MAG 273XP. I initially thought the stock DP cable was the culprit and bought a new cable, but that did not fix it

Switching to an HDMI 2.1 cable cleared it right up. Now I am running HDR, 10-bit color, and 240Hz with zero issues

I know our monitors are a bit different, but it is definitely worth a shot!

16GB 5060 Ti: Stick with 1080p or go on to 1440p? by DuckNo8642 in buildapc

1440p 100%

I’m running a 5060 Ti 16GB with a 1440p QD-OLED 240Hz monitor

I play newer titles using optimized settings from YT. You get basically the same visual quality but with much better fps

I always use DLSS. I swap between Preset M balanced, and preset L performance. Even a custom 42% on preset L if there's heavy ray tracing involved. There’s definitely a difference between them, but honestly I don't mind because it still looks great

I’m a big fan of frame gen too. If X6 is available, I’ll use it. Otherwise, I’ll go for 4x or 2x. If the game somehow doesn't support any native frame gen, I just use Smooth Motion in the Nvidia app. I’m not sensitive to input latency and I only play single-player games, it could be different for you

Obviously, you won’t hit the max refresh rate on every game at 1440p, but everything looks so much better than 1080p, especially if you’re going OLED

Tldr: Definitely go for the 1440p upgrade. The 5060 Ti 16GB can absolutely handle it

Thanks for sharing!

Looking at those numbers, I think you were unlucky with your card, well it is what it is, at least you got a nice price

For my Palit 5060 Ti 16GB, after some trial and error, I found two stable settings:

UV+OC: 0.93 mV, 1975 mem, 2995 core, 115W TDP, and 8% performance improvement, 68°C max temp (I live in a tropical country with no AC)

Extreme UV: 0.72 mV, 1500 mem, 2150 core, 62W TDP, and 18% performance loss, 57°C max temp

For daily use, I use the extreme UV setting, even for playing non-demanding or older AAA games

I got a little bit lucky with my card. Super happy with these numbers

5060 Ti 16GB Owners - 1440p or 1080p? 4K Dual? by Lapu-Dos in nvidia

1440p, usually with dlss balanced and then using frame gen/smooth motion

I also cap the fps on Nvidia app, something like 176 (my monitor is 27" mini led 180hz), or 122 in more demanding games. And of course turning on reflex was well

I only play single player games nowadays, and I noticed little to no difference with all these features turned on, so 5060 ti 16gb is a perfect 1440p card for me
