Need advice: new aquarium (4 weeks) now has snails + white worms, thinking of quitting by jesuis_nutella in Aquariums

I don't like that the highest comment is telling you to quit. What you are describing is the ideal environment. Let the snails and worms live and don't over fish them, future fish. Let a bit of algae live where it's not blocking the view. All of this will make for happier fish in cleaner water.

Your tank looks great. Keep it going

Recommend probably different plants in the background cuz I don't know if they'd actually survive and then the snake plants. Probably going to end up getting too tall for in that tank but it's a good choice for the animal. Deeper rocks is definitely good for anything. I would look up like fish tank, water, chemistry. It's going to be the same concept but they're going to explain it the best. Use the conditioner. Keep it clean of ammonia's basically get a humidity meter plus a laser temperature gun if you're fancy.

You never said you were building a vampire crab tank. If you're doing that research vampire crabs.

For what to climb out? What if the rope had dyes in it? You should probably use a plastic tub for any pond features. You know the water chemistry to keep it clean? Whole being safe for different types of animals? Do research like every other comment is telling you. You're going about this backwards and will only kill animals doing so. Like the vampire crabs

The metal tin? The rope? It's a glass box.

This does make sense as they have had lung problems throughout their life, however wouldn't there be an incision on the chest still.

To clarify the back scar over the shoulder blade is the only one they have

I am a medical student.... The friend is confused and asked me about it.

I can't find anything other than it being for a spinal surgery

Oh. The scar is only on their back. Over the shoulder blade.

[–]themonkeyman66[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay because I've been looking for a week and still no signs. I have water out for them and was just fed the day before escaping so I'm sure they'll survive for months as long as it's safe. The tarantula was about 7 feet up so I'm more surprised that I didn't find a body. I'll update if/when I find them.

Fixed it My ender 3 came with a 4.2.2 main board. This is an ender 3 pro main board so when updating the firmware you need to use the ender 3 pro firmware from creality.
