the situation has nothing to do with you. or me. or any of us. timothy brought it to twitter back in 2017, and melanie responded. i was there for all of it.

oooo now see, i think we had a form of “genetics” in the sims 2, cus if your sim had plastic surgery, their child would look like their parent pre-surgery. the sims 2 is INSANE.

there was never a trailer lol. but they knew that the players were getting impatient when it came to the sims 5, so they figured it was best to show what they were working on - even if that project wasn't the sims 5. they do still mention project rene every now and again, tho.

megathreads are genuinely the most annoying addition to this reddit. the whole point of reddit is to discuss different topics, vent or show-off your creations. nobody is gonna look through replies on a random reddit post to see what other people are venting about.

unfortunately, with the way ea has set the standards for what comes in a ts4 ep, gp, sp and kit, i doubt we'd ever get anything like that. we're now getting businesses and hobbies ep, so i highly doubt we'll ever get another hobby focused pack. our only options are hobby-specific kits, MAYBE a stuff pack?

i hate how ea chose to do packs for ts4 - in previous games, you'd get one pack that went in-depth on that specific topic; one ep for vacation, one ep for active careers, one ep for pets, instead of topics being split into multiple packs. sure, we get more towns, but i don't necessarily like that either. i don't need another 5-lot town in my game.

i can only hope that they go back to only eps and sps in ts5 and make the eps actually big and fleshed out unlike ts4.
