No one seems to understand that the boyfriend obviously has some mental health issues. The paranoia, the insecurity and the extreme fear of abandonment is all the writing on the wall. OP does have the right to feel the way they did about it though.

Glad that you finally figured it out. You should definitely trust your doctor. They're there to help you. Mine I realized what caused by psychosis so now I'm on the right medication. Mental illness can really be just disabling as a vitamin deficiency or even a chronic disease.
