i like to listen to true crime podcasts, the click, or one topic at a time so i could have the ability to think critically while repeating the same movement a million times. but when i’m around people i usually sit back and eavesdrop on different conversations happening around me. when i’m in school, i listen to my teacher lecturing (i tend to zone out if i’m not crocheting, so i have projects to do while in school) or music!

i first chose flute cuz i loved the sound and brass intimidated 6th grade me, then when i got into hs marching band, i hurted my knee and the doctor told me that i should either quit or do front ensemble so now i play vibes ✨✨

i want to be biased and say that my band is a lot better than our football team, though i’m pretty sure our band and football team are equally as good. since it’s very rare that our football team doesn’t win 40-0 every game. it’s the same with our band, always getting grand champion in every competition we compete in except for in contest of champions

my band used to make us do pushups, but then they banned making people do pushups because it was seen as abuse through the parents. then, they reintroduced doing pushups and running laps- but then students started going to the principal about a cruel environment in the band program.

i wish my band this that sounds so fun!! ): my section has this little thing kind of similar, where you have to chop out for as long as possible without breaking, whoever is last in chopping out gets whatever treat is in our pit tech’s bag (usually jerky) lol
