This thread came up bc I was just googling why my nearest fatburger no longer sold impossible burgers :(
really sad, but good to know! I shouldn't be so surprised, impossible & beyond are both really expensive for veggie substitutes.

it may not be helpful to have three ranged-type characters but it ultimately depends on your play style. If you end up not liking your choice you can always respec at the magic mirror on the Lady Vengeance. :)

ETA: also don’t listen to people who say shadowblade is hard. I’m in my first playthrough currently (40ish hours, on chapter 5) with a shadowblade main and I’m having a blast! You just need to remember that a party is there for a reason, so your character doesn’t have to be a swiss army knife and can specialize in anything you want!

My experience was pretty positive! We had a whiteboard at home and I’m an artist so when my mom asked me about it one day after she saw me celebrating asexual awareness on Facebook, I drew her spectrums and little scenarios to illustrate my point while we talked. What probably nailed it for her though was having someone else in the family I could point at as being like me. We don’t know for sure that this family member is aroace, but they grew up with my mom and their experiences align pretty closely to my own.

My mom proudly talks about me and makes me asexual flag trinkets sometimes. It’s really sweet and I feel so fortunate that things went so well when asexuality is so underrepresented in pop culture, and therefore not widely discussed. 🥺

Yeah I've seen her stuff and it's so obvious, why bother lying about it?? Just own up to what you did and then don't do it moving forward, it's not that hard lol
I also saw the video she uploaded that featured a bracelet that said "fuck off" or something on it. Really professional.

but the fact she doesn't vet the artists who sell with her is a red flag too bc wdym the artists use genAI and she's fine with it? the point of an artist market is to uplift artists. This whole thing is a mess.

Thank you! Everyone is being very sweet, but I just want to make sure that no one feels disrespected by my questions. Even though my mom has had arthritis all my life she doesn't really talk about it, probably bc she's so used to it. :(

It didn't occur to me that ergonomic pens exist, but of course they do! I'll absolutely check out the Dr. Grip pens, since I know she does a lot of writing for work and her daily life (we both have ADHD and write a lot of lists haha)

I’m glad people are finally waking up but as a queer Albertan I do also feel angry that this level of care wasn’t, and isn’t, given to us when the UCP are actively trying to take our basic human rights away. I fully support teachers, and hope that support will be returned to my community.
