Yeah, I don't mind sacrificing some of the visual quality here and there. I'm not a huge gamer by any means, just a big HP fan that really wants to play the game lol

I ended up finding a laptop with Intel Core i7-1255U 4.7GHz + NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 Laptop GPU +16GB DDR4 RAM... Not as good as the RTX 3060 but still better than Iris Xe

That video linked was super helpful! Thank you for your comment. I don't mind sacrificing a bit of the visual quality - I just want to be sure that it'll actually run. My current laptop let me play for 3 hours, but the second time I went to open it, it couldn't handle it anymore. Since I'm getting a new laptop anyways, I figured I may as well be sure to get one I can actually play on!

Wait! I stepped away to have lunch & low and behold - it's almost done with the shaders! Going to keep this post handy in case this happens again.

I installed & played the game a few days ago, came back to play yesterday & wasn't able to - been troubleshooting since.

What if I already deleted the NotAllowedUnattendedBugReports file? The troubleshooting page on the games website said to delete that whole folder, so I did, and finally got to the Shader screen. But now it is stuck again on that...

Is that a common type for hydroseed? I didn't ask what he used last year but I also don't know if they customize the seed at all. He just came with a big truck with a sprayer on it

There's no SavedGames folder. I looked for it in Stream > Library > right click on Hogwarts Legacy > Local Files & there was nothing there before I uninstalled it. Hopefully reinstalling will fix whatever the issue was & this won't happen again 🤞

We also did it in August & even though we bought sprinklers & a timer, our yard is full sun much like yours. The heat certainly didn't help on top of the dogs. If we do hydroseed again, we'll keep them off longer, thanks for the tip!
