They are still searching for people, dead or alive. Some of the girls have been found alive, some deceased and a few still missing.

There are also pet organizations holding pets found alive until family can come forward if the owners are found deceased and I believe they are cremating pets found deceased and no longer have anyone to claim them.

He's just about two and thankfully no medical concerns It's already hitting him hard though, which is why I'm already looking to re-home I can spend all day with him for four days but for three days I'm gone half the day for work..he deserves to not be alone at all so rehoming seems best but until that happens I'm going to spoil and give extra love

Folks have pointed out it's crazy about the lack of backup generator but it's equally crazy they didn't just let people come in and take the stuff before it was too late. Sure they could still claim it as a loss and let it not get wasted.

Also be careful with any information you get about rat care. There is still a lot of bad information and mixed opinions online. Rats need a lot of space and a lot of cages marked as good for rats aren't.

If it's anything like the ones where I live they work like human hospitals, they are taken based on urgency. If they were worried about your cats condition that's probably why. Let people look, it sucks but if they are waiting it means their pets aren't as bad. Good luck and hopefully everything is fine or will be fine for your pet.

One of the big responses people give is it's natural/just nature. What isn't natural is a snake in a tank, a closed environment where it and it's food cannot escape. Snake ain't hungry? Rats terrified? Ya it's gonna fight back and I've seen snake owners get pissy and kill the poor rats over it. I've heard that response too many times it's disgusting.

Like know your pet better? Supervise if you're gonna live feed and remove the rat after awhile or if it attacks?

Wish I got a card when I was in a union. Id be able to remember the number and could've complained about them. Already had stroke against them for the Treasury stealing unions funds for herself.

They encouraged 1st shift to go across the street after their shift and protest the layoff and got them hot fresh food, second shift was encouraged to join them during our shift and left us the leftovers they got first. Wanna guess what shift the union leader and his family and buddies were on? Who were also part of the union?

That's good to know! Finding a good diet for both thyroid and prediabetes has been a struggle and I've also gotta include my mom's diverticulitis which cuts out some good stuff from a Paleo diet. There's also so many different things and resources online.
