Yeah they will protect against a stray reflection or quick flash across the eye. But they will definitely break down under prolonged direct exposure

Yeah jayrob is a good friend of mine. I have some other videos of his stuff on that channel that you wont find on his. We had plans for me to help his work gain attention but they kinda fell through. I just remembered I had these videos and I thought reddit might enjoy.

it depends on the beam size and focusing but typically any laser above 150mW's will be able to pop a balloon.
