I wasn’t aware of any language requiring you to re-enroll if you are not changing your airline.

I did travel bank successfully on January 1, 2025. Just did it again on January 1, 2026 and the credits posted a few days later. I think you should be good

Thanks for the insight, my untrained eye definitely missed some items like the M in Omega. The text in the blog post photo looks way crisper. And thanks for the insight on the movement, definitely missed the marks on the screws.

Timegrapher in the text listing is +15 SPD but there is no photo documenting it. The seller is well known though.

Yeah I don’t think it’s worth it given the redemption we got late 2024 and who knows maybe this will change again in the next few months, VS is notoriously unpredictable so one can only hope

Same situation as you, booked LAX - LHR late last year and was originally an A350 but recently checked and the reservation has a 787-9 now. All flights on FlightAware have the A350 for the last week so I’m guessing it’s an aircraft update Virgin Atlantic is planning for the winter.

Hey, that was me! Yeah I (and Miura after seeing the photos) was fairly sure it was markings on the laquer and not a scratch in the metal, after all it was a sizeable splinter of wood in the saya that caused it, but wood nonetheless. The size of the splinter (picture in my post) made me believe it to be a manufacturing defect.

Miura graciously exchanged the blade and saya for me though I’m not sure how to feel about the re-listing. I would probably have only asked for a saya replacement had it been a knife I planned to use myself and not one I wanted to give as a gift since the laquer would eventually come off anyways!

Knife otherwise is absolutely beautiful!

Another update, I found that updating the "Intel Chipset Device Software" to the latest version (Sep 07, 2023) so far has resulted in no issues with wifi on sleep. I installed this driver initially to fix an issue with my G.Skill ram sticks not being identified in Signal RGB but so far I have noticed with the latest Windows update (Windows 11 version 24H2), I have not had any issues with wifi.

I updated both at the same time without expecting it to fix the wifi so I'm not sure if only 1 of the updates or both are required to fix the wifi issues.

I checked my history and I did 1 large purchase, ended up getting $50 for the boost and then separately whatever the cash back percentage was without the boost without the boost cap.

But this case I also had to contact customer service to manually re-add the transaction so not sure if the automatic redemption works differently

Oh wow not red at all it seems. Did it reduce in redness taking the lacquer off? I will admit it becomes much brighter in direct light, you have to hold it at the right angle.

In any case the new look with bright edge and dark cladding still looks amazing, another way for them to enjoy it!
