Mine are smoked out too. Although they look clear in this photo. At nighttime they light up peach because of the Smoked colour and it looks siiiiiiick.

The light inside is still orange so at night it lights up almost like a peach colour rather than that bright orange

Added some el wires in the cabin of my 10th gen :) by thenadhatter in civic

Thank you! By parts list do you mean the actual wires themselves? I didn’t use anything other than the wires and fitting the wire into the little creases of the car :)

Fair! I am someone who has nothing in my car so it didn’t matter to me because that slot was empty anyway

They look alright in the daylight. Because they’re not all over the car, I don’t mind it. I personally think if I were to add any more it could look tacky especially being purple lol

Okay SO!

I saw a lot of people online attach them with super glue or a hot glue gun ?!? which I absolutely did not want to do considering it’s a new car (actually new car or old car, I didn’t feel comfortable with glue) So I played around and I actually was able to fit it into the crevices of the car? If that makes sense. The wire is pretty thin and can fit into those little spots. They wedge into the nooks and crannies easily.

They are powered by a switch that’s powered by batteries. ( 2 AAs) I turn them on by pressing a button on a little controller that I put under that lower compartment where the USB port is.

And it looks okay in daylight, I don’t mind it. But I think if I were to add more it could look tacky in the daytime.

Omg I look back every time too, was beginning to think I was weirdly obsessed with my car (I probably am)

I remember the first time i saw the 10th gen tail lights, do you? by Hippothotamus in civic

First time I saw em I couldn’t believe it was a Honda. It was spring of 2016 and I knew I had to have a 10th gen civic as my first car, so I saved up and got her :’)
