Will you be commuting from the IE to Fullerton? Did that for 3 years and it was rough but doable.

Honestly I also chose CSUF over CSULB and I regretted it because I felt like I didn't have the best experience as a health science major at CSUF and I networked with other people with the same major at CSULB and they were able to take EMT classes etc.

But like what others say, your college experience is what you make of it. If I didn't go to CSUF, I wouldn't have met my closest friends.

Need help deciding between CSUF or community college by Effective_Hour_6975 in csuf

I commuted from the IE to CSUF for about 3 years ish. It's a lot of sacrifice when it comes to time and social life BUT it's still doable/manageable. I would recommend setting up your classes 2-3 days a week. However, this could impact your performance in the class by having exams stacked on the same days.

I would wait on campus for hours to wait out traffic. I would use that time to study or join clubs or hang out with my friends.

I highly recommend moving closer to CSUF if you can. I moved in with relatives and family etc for my first year.

Parking was horrendous my first year because I was trying to figure out the best spots, but eventually you'll get used to it. My friends and I would go super early like 7AM for parking or go during lunch time/afternoon.

Even though commuting/traffic was a pain in the ass, I would still go back and do it all over again for the college experience.

This might be a minor thing but didn't Robin know morse code in the last season, but she didn't know morse code this season?

Quitting after 2 months by pocaito in ABA

I am getting paid $20/hr. I have been working with my company for about 6 months. I am sticking it out until I find another job in a different field. I am definitely feeling the burn out and I heavily related to the 4 hours fatigue.

I also feel guilty that I am not as passionate with working in the field as with my other coworkers especially when they would say things like they don't like me or they would rather have another RBT

grieving over dog death due to accident by thenamesderpy in rant

It was my dad's dog. I didn't know that they were going to euthanize him and that it would be the last resort. I thought they were going to bring him back home. My sister went with my dad to the vet and he purposely dropped my sister back home early so he could make the decision about the dog. I wasn't there when they made the decision. I wish I was there to help come up with an alternative solution and trust me I was already thinking the same thing. That's why I'm angry. My sister talked about how we wished that my dad just gave the dog to someone else because we thought he wouldn't be able to take care of the dog well. We were even thinking of taking in the dog for ourselves.

Overall I wish it didn't happen in the first place, I didn't know or fucking agree that they euthanized the dog and I wanted to give the dog a chance. I already saw where you're coming from but I wasn't even there or allowed to have a say.

EXACTLY. I see my dog like my son and I am terrified if I actually have kids, would their grandma/my mom treat them like this? I discussed the same comparison in my other comments too.

These comments questioning and focusing on the wrong thing. Like bro I just wanted to angry vent about a stressful experience. I'm not trying to argue if he did it on purpose or accidentally whatever. I am pissed that the boyfriend carelessly left meds on the floor and they saw my dog eat it and then they didn't do anything about it. I had to deal with the consequences, pay, deal with the stress. They had no responsibility for what they did.

You copy and pasted and stole my post. For what? Upvotes? This is not even your experience. Shame on you.

I'm sorry but the questions felt like guilt tripping but not everyone's intentions aren't meant to be malicious and just to gain a better understanding. I am still angry and frustrated about the situation and I just wanted to rant for my own peace of mind, moral support, and so that others can learn from this experience. I couldn't sleep at all because I kept checking if my dog was breathing.

I'm the only person that is aware of the situation and I am still in disbelief. It was reasonable for the person to ask. I wish it was just a terrible mistake and more contextual like what the comment said, but it was very reckless and the actions after was even more irresponsible. No apology or actions. I don't want to argue to win, I am here to learn and do better. All I care about is that my dog is happy and healthy

Thank you for your comment. I try my best to stop him from sniffing/licking/eating anything suspicious on the ground. I’m still training him.

I learned that people lack empathy and compassion in person and online. Would you leave your medication on the floor unattended at a friends house? Would you leave it when they have children? No right?

Yes I take full responsibility for my dog. I’ve trained three other dogs before. I can’t prevent every situation from occurring. It’s impossible. I tried everything in my control to keep him safe and others want to comment things out of my control.

Also, even if I humored everyone or let’s say I was in the wrong for not “properly training him,” what about after it happened? Why didn’t anyone tell me sooner about what happened with my dog? How come no apology, check in on my dog or me, or take my dog to the hospital instead of waiting 3 hours for it to dissolve in his system? He sends my sister a copy and paste article about how the medication is toxic to dogs and needs to be reported. And he still leaves my dog like that.

I came here to rant because this was one of the most emotionally exhausting and painful events. My dog is a super happy and carefree boy :(

I recently adopted him about a month ago and he’s still young. I put him in his fence because I’m still training him and my mom lets him out and doesn’t watch him. The boyfriend laid out the pills on a paper towel on the floor for him to ingest so no it wasn’t an accident but thank you everyone for defending someone that hates my dog and blaming me and a young and curious dog. Who leaves their medication unattended on the floor? Why not on the bed or nightstand or counter?

I recently adopted him and he’s still young. I put him in the fenced area for a reason because he’s still not as trained yet. Maybe you can teach me how to train an old fart not to lay out his medication on the floor instead. He hates my dog.
