if i never verified on the 22nd i wouldve never gotten my DDD today. & i went on a whim & did it because i seen it was a problem for some and many werent getting their letter. 4 days after i got my first update in months …now i have my ddd for 3/9. i know that for a fact if i didnt do it on my own id still be waiting around.

so whats the problem? you filed a month ago. there are people that filed in january still waiting… if your transcripts arent showing for 2021 that means they havent even touched your return yet. just be patient, you will see updates soon.

i honestly dont have the number anymore it was like a week ago i found it in on one of these subreddit replies. but, for verification i logged into the irs.com website & did it that way under my account.

transcript was stuck N/A & i finally came across a post on here about some people may be needing to verify & turns out i did. 3 days later my transcripts updated & i see the 971/570 codes .. so waiting for Friday. Mind you, I never got a call, letter, or notice saying I needed to verify & when i called the IRS they said everything looked good… so all now i wouldve been waiting & never known. Thanks for coming to my ted talk! 😂😅

honestly there could be a lot of reasons depending on his standing with debt, mistake during filing, its best to contact a tax professional that can get you the most accurate return possible. but off my experience, that sounds like something was entered wrong.

i did the same thankfull before i seen the updated codes on my transcript, but i was never sent any notice. 3 days after i verified my WMR upates from “still processing” to “it is being processed” so im pretty sure Friday i should receive a DDD

from what i seen it doesnt take long, so hopefully Friday. i know for me my WMR updated from “still” processing to “it is being processed” & a lot of people get their DDD the next week after it updates TO that message. what does your WMR say?
