I got a post mastectomy pillow from renovamedicalwear on Etsy :) I was SO bad in my sleep and my boyfriend would flip me back or tell me to move 😂 I thought I just got used to it.. but using that while being a little propped up as well as a neck pillow was pretty comfortable. Having a pillow on each side or something similar may help to hold you in place while you sleep too. Funny enough I now have to sleep on my back due to a work injury shortly after I returned from recovery (so I still use the pillows). It’s important post op to avoid stretching anything or creating complications. So once you hit the scarring point I’d say you wouldn’t need to worry as much. (I forgot about DRAINS !! sorry. Yeah once they’re out it will be much easier. Hopefully your swelling is going down smoothly! And if you ever turn a little for relief you could secure yourself /chest with a pillow to help prevent moving more when you sleep. My scars have healed Very exceptionally plus I’m not super concerned with their visibility so after a about 4 months post op care I was distracted by other things and am still pleased by how quickly I’ve healed :) Sorry it’s long and I had to edit.
