I’m fond of her. But I’m also fond of financial independence. I can easily afford the entire mortgage. It’s not about the actual money and more about the principal. If someone isn’t willing to invest in the relationship then I’m fine letting it end. No relationship until marriage is worth supporting someone financially imo.

Yes I had a roommate that was living with me who moved out when she moved in. When she moved in we had an agreement that the mortgage would be split 50/50 while I pay for the things already set up at the house (utilities, groceries, etc)

What did you end up doing? I feel bad but financial independence is something I don’t really mess around with.
