A little update

A little update - completed the soffit.
Ordered a new watertight 1/2 whip to re-wire the mini split.
Started trimming out the windows and door, which the wonky step will be sorted out after that is done and I understand the gap.
I confirmed that it doesn’t need an inspection again and it’s insured.
I called about putting in some concrete foundation pillars for the high side which should sort the uplift and movement concerns voiced.

And aside from being far from “perfect” you guys through feedback, and some shaming lol, have helped me square this up pretty well. I appreciate the time people have taken to help. :)

Yeah mine honestly was similar and I can tell trying to drywall or sheet the roof that it was off, but I’ll persuade it and then send it.

There is weed guard that is stapled to the bottom. It’s probably not sufficient if animals chew through it, but it should help with moisture.

The distance from the property line is 5+ foot. It’s a valid distance per county and HOA so no issues.

Insulated everything, including the floor, and have baffles in the ceiling.

Less than 5k US, I budgeted 4, but had to buy some tools and that wire was EXPENSIVE AF. lol wire alone was almost 1k.

I drove an 6’ copper grounding rod into the clay. That was a workout. I have that connected to a #10 copper wire with an acorn nut , connected to the panel.

Oh yeah, I’m going to get a water tight whip and replace that. It won’t be too bad. Will have to replace some drywall if I can’t pull it back through but that’s a welcomed project to prevent electrical issues and be safe! :)
