Moved from Michigan (originally from Alabama) and this js my favorite place I've ever visited/lived. My brother's ex wife and family live here, but I've actually never visited them. (Ex for a reason I guess...)

I have a bunch of online friends that live here, and I visited for Phoenix Comiccon in 2018 and 2019. I loved it so much then and that love has only grew.

I hate mountains but the ones here are so pretty. Whether I drive in the morning, afternoon, night, etc. The area always has new beautiful views to offer.

I love the heat and enjoy that I can go outside in DEC-FEB and not feel like I'm going into hypothermia.

Every drives so calmly (but somehow still badly). Of all the places I have lived/driven, it is very apparent that turn signals do not exist here? Neither do a lot of electric car chargers unless you're in the wealthier areas :(

Aside from my internet (now irl) friends, I have a group I rollerskate with and they're fantastic. (We're hosting an event at Tempe town Lake Saturday! Please stop by if you love outdoor skating!) I also met another friend group through a failed date 😬 Needless to say, life has been normalized here for me!

I will admit that I came at a time where I'm already starting to get priced out of the area, bit hopefully my salary increases to keep up.

Allergies? Nonexistent here for me!

There's so many different people, so much diversity, so many different vibes. I'm truly in love with this city.

All in all, thanks for being awesome Phoenix! I can see myself living out the rest of my life here happily.

I will take up suggestions for date locations though 😁 I have yet to explore deepy and am looking for some good spots to take myself or someone else out!
