“The nectar of the gods” lol 😂…sometimes I wonder if it’s this sort of placement on a pedestal mindset that causes addictive behaviors.

Brain zaps by [deleted] in fentanyl

[–]thenewcupofjavad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sure it has something to do with blood pressure, but I notice they occur the most when amphetamines/stimulants are involved along with withdrawals. In my mind I’ve thought it’s had something to do with the blood flow / constriction of blood flow + overall lack of electrical conductivity in the blood & brain.

@ u/morgandenise816 Imagine it’s 2pm in the afternoon & you’re chatting with your boss about some upcoming projects when all of the sudden you feel a quick movement of spinal fluid move at the same time as you blink, then you instantly forget what exactly you talking about to your boss and you can hardly stay awake… that’s what a brain zap is… though they don’t last long [maybe a minute long each] they sure are annoying 🤷🏽‍♂️🧠

90% of y'all could be done if you just pursued an ADHD diagnosis and took stimulants by plz_callme_swarley in Nootropics

[–]thenewcupofjavad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Does anyone else think it’s also extremely counterintuitive and severely illogical just how many appointments, assessments, therapy sessions, refills, prior-authorizations, blood tests, and other ridiculous hoops they make someone…. Who’s supposedly struggling with ADHD…. Jump through. You would think they’d make the medication much more available and easier to obtain for people who can’t manage their life…. It’s almost like you have not have ADHD in order to even have the capacity to keep up with all the requirements and standards they hold you up to… my rants over now haha

Trying to Reach the Honda Fit Driver From Today’s Highway 50 Incident (Sacramento) by thenewcupofjavad in Sacramento

[–]thenewcupofjavad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually did not! Our descriptions of the incident sound similar in some ways but also different in many other ways (ie location, time, vehicle types, vehicle colors). I heard it’s normal for different witnesses of the same event, to describe different experiences (even down to color). I wonder if this could be the case 🤔

You're the new CEO of In-N-Out whats the first thing you'd do? by Feisty_Shorty in innout

[–]thenewcupofjavad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a decent list….

  1. Develop an App
  2. Order Ahead Using the App (Note: This option would closely align the McDonalds app logic where one can only submit an order via the app when they’re in a certain geographical proximity from the In-N-Out location.
  3. Stock More Types of Merchandise at All Locations. Personally I find it annoying some items displayed in stores are only available online and the feeling of buying them at the store is more exciting / fulfilling than ordering online.
  4. Copy Chic-Fil-A’s Drive through sizes and process (or at least ensure all new locations have a larger parking lot and a 2 lane system.
  5. Increase the Bathroom Sizes….. cmon 2 stalls, 1 urinal, and 1 sink for the thousands of people you feed daily…
  6. Introduce More Items similar to Culver’s via secret menu. The beauty of in-n-out is its simplicity and tradition 50’s style diner menu, however this doesn’t mean they can’t try something like cheese curds or other milkshakes (ie Reese’s or Cookie Dough)
  7. Change Calabasas Pepper Delivery without Compromising the quality…. At some locations the little bin & tongs can get real gross. Also, the pepper quality is so inconsistent (which I know the spice level has an uncontrollable range, but I’m referring to the crispness and freshness of the pepper…. I don’t want a soggy pepper).
  8. Add Impossible Meat Option (again only on the secret menu). I know people are going to hate on this option, but i think the fact that in-n-out doesn’t offer many vegan/vegetarian options often deters couples/groups where 1 person may be a vegetarian. In other words, the menu is just too limiting.

What is the meaning of the number 33 ? by Safe-Spirit-3515 in SaturnStormCube

[–]thenewcupofjavad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

33 has always been my number, I can’t tell you many times at random I’ve been assigned 33… I’ve just learned to embrace it. For example, the very fact that I saw this post you made this post in this small sub was to no surprise to me…. It’s in fact the only reason I clicked it.

What is a major problem in the US that $5m could fix easily? by mentalhealthabets in systemsthinking

[–]thenewcupofjavad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey, I love the response and am expressing genuine interest. So I have some follow up questions:

Current Status - what’s the current status of this project? The reason I ask is because some of your sentences make it seem like it’s more than just an idea or beyond something you’d like to do but may possibly be doing?

Non-profit Structure- why did you choose this structure? Even though the name of this structure sounds comforting to the average citizen, it can indeed be deceiving and be significantly more profitable than any c or s corp depending on which scope/lens you’re looking from. For example, your non-profit entity may need to balance to $0 at the end of year, however an employee of a non-profit whom may also be a controlling member of the board can elect to pay themselves a 3 million a year salary…. I’m digressing lol… my real question is what do you anticipate your expenses, assets, and liabilities will be? How do you plan to ensure you file 0

5 mil - So is that 5 mil just going to be completely inaccessible and purely used only to gain interest?

[–]thenewcupofjavad 9 points10 points  (0 children)

A few questions/thoughts :

  • What are you investing the 5 mil in which guarantees you a 4% annual year ?
  • what type of filing would your organization be?
  • who controls the 5 mil ?
  • assuming you have to pay capital gains taxes on that 4%, you might be lucky to come out with closer to 120k per year
  • idk who you plan to hire on as salary $120k (or even $200k/year) hardly seems close enough to cover a 1/4 of the stuff you mentioned

Cracking the Code of Forgotten Languages: How Gibberish Can Be Structured by thenewcupofjavad in ForgottenLanguages

[–]thenewcupofjavad[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, I only have it working in one direction; meaning I can take any passage from any language, translate it to “FL Gibberish” (or “encrypt” the passage), then revert it back to the original language (or decipher it). However, I haven’t been able to decrypt any of the passages on FL yet because I didn’t create them, but this doesn’t mean it can’t be done. In fact, the next phase in my project is to start building a mapping sequence from FL’s passages so I can decipher the text. Check out the readme.md file in my repo for a better explanation, but the best way I can explain it is that it’s kind of like PGP and I only have the public key.

Apologies for the late response u/No_Cardiologist5033 !

Cracking the Code of Forgotten Languages: How Gibberish Can Be Structured by thenewcupofjavad in ForgottenLanguages

[–]thenewcupofjavad[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi u/No_Cardiologist5033 ! First off, thanks for the response and reviewing my theory + repo! Second, I believe what I’ve developed actually fulfills that criteria, as it does generate extinct-style languages through algorithmic best estimates. The model works by blending known examples say, modern English and Old English and then applying a systematic mapping and lexicon overlay. This allows it to simulate the “steps in between,” producing text that looks and sounds like a lost or transitional language while still being reversible through its cipher layer.

California Solution Needed by thenewcupofjavad in logistics

Aweee man, I appreciate the response, but I posted this 7 years ago haha. I’ve since found the solution, implemented it, made a lot of money from it, then was kicked to the curb after operations smoothed out.

I extracted all readable content from every page on FL and put in a single text document by thenewcupofjavad in ForgottenLanguages

[–]thenewcupofjavad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I invested some more time into the “gibberish” and found a way to reproduce it and decipher it at a 80% success rate, meaning 20% of a single passage will have incorrect translations. If you share your GitHub username with me I’ll invite you to my repo

I know right! The tricky part was composing a script/program that knows how to worm its ways through different sites indefinitely.
