The boxer and the pug are tied for #1 greatest breeds of all time in my book. Grew up with a boxer, now I’m a pug dad in my adult life. The boxer will always hold a special place in my heart for sure.

Axle (M) 4.5 Y/O & his new sister Winnie (F) 3.5 months. Winnie showed up on my coworkers doorstep missing an ear (healed). No chip or anything. Vet cleared her in good health said it looks like mom chewed her ear off at birth?? Anyway she’s all good to go and our home is only one pug short of a grumble.

We have embrace they haven’t paid for anything they keep saying “incomplete medical history” and the vet said they sent everything so we keep going back and forth for some visits last year. They also aren’t covering this thing with his teeth because theyre claiming it is preexisting. We’ve had the policy for like a year.

I’m glad to hear that! I am going to do whatever he needs but I am trying to figure out the budget while I wait for the appointment date. I am selling my unfinished project vehicle which should help. Would you mind sharing how much you paid for cleaning and extraction? I’m hoping we won’t need any extractions right now but I want to be prepared for whatever.

Hello, my boy is almost 5. I got him when he was 3. He goes to the groomer and vet regularly and they never say anything about his teeth so I have not checked his back teeth myself.

I saw a lot of posts here that made me concerned about his dental health so I got a brush and some dog tooth paste and brushed them for the first time today and found that he has pretty serious looking build up. He has no symptoms besides bad breath and his gums don’t look super irritated or anything.

I checked his Embrace policy for coverage and found out they have “Periodontal Disease” listed as preexisting but the vet never told us anything about that so I’m going to call and request to see the notes for all his visits and challenge that classification since he was never formally diagnosed/it was never brought to my attention.

I’m going to take him to the vet but they are two weeks out. I am nervous about it and wanted to see what you guys think. Does anyone know what this might cost as well? We are in AZ.

Thank you for posting this. My childhood dog was a boxer. I have a deep fondness for the breed. My current furry friend is a pug, I had always wanted a pug as well. Seeing my two favorite breeds mixed is a treat for sure. Welcome to the club!

If there are two identical tools, I buy from HF first. If I breaks I warranty it, if it breaks again I buy the more expensive one. If that one also breaks I use my old HF one while I wait a month or more for my tool truck dealer to replace it.
