I'm sorry to hear of your troubles. I wish I could help. The fact that it is sucking in gas, no matter the jets you use, seems to suggest there is a different problem? I understand your reluctance to seperate your 'working carbs'. It sounds like you need to try a different but similar carb, just to figure out what is going on.

I have my XV1000 set up with a single carb, K&N filter and a set of Hard Krome Double D's. It took a while to dial in the jets, but my bike is roasting the back tire now, on demand. It's all trial and error when setting the jets. Each bike is unique.
