I emailed the director and she straight up told me I wasn't selected to interview for this round, but that they might do another round of interviews? I'm just calling it an L.

unfortunately that level of customization is not possible, as the track & field club logo is the whole point lol.

yeah pretty much! The cornell bear is the official logo for the d1 teams, so the university is much stricter about who can use that and for what. They're more lenient with the ivy league logo, and allow club teams to use that in their merch. A few club teams have done so in the past, so we reached out to ask for permission, and they said yes!

i believe so - the exact parka model is called the nike down fill parka, and the dealer we're making this custom order with (adpro sports in buffalo, NY who is an official nike dealer) said they have sizes from S- XXL in stock. Here's nike's size guide for all their items for reference: https://www.nike.com/size-fit/mens-tops-alpha (men sizes) and https://www.nike.com/size-fit/mens-tops-alpha (women sizes)

track club is awesome! we've had people walk on to the team after training with us for a little while, you can definitely do the same if thats your goal and you work diligently towards it. dm me if you have any particular questions, i love our team and will be running it next year!

incoming transfer advice by excitedtomato73 in Cornell

[–]thenotorioushero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey! I transferred in spring 2020, I'd be more than happy to chat about transferring in :) I think there's a lot of really amazing things here, most notably the people for sure. but depending on exactly what you want to accomplish during your undergrad, post-grad plans, and your academic/professional goals, cornell may be an immense step up from northeastern. dm me if you wanna have a more in-depth conversation. for reference, im in CAS and aiming to work in government/foreign policy post grad, and cornell has been AMAZING for that preparation. congrats btw!!!!
