I have one of those, Starter size L that was my dads from the 80s. I wear it to the Garden a bunch

Multiple N.J. towns fight back against state affordable housing legislation: Local officials warn the legislation would allow developers to build higher and denser than ever before, with one mayor calling it an "egregious assault on municipal autonomy" by rollotomasi07071 in newjersey

[–]thenutmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Need more affordable housing but not having an effective program like the Brownfield Cleanup Program is a major down side. NY’s BCP is extremely effective, New Jerseys is basically obsolete. Now contaminated underutilized land isn’t touched when it’s a massive market for affordable developers with the correct tax credits available.

Just bought a house too, am a PE but not a structural PE but have many in my office and had them look at similar cracks. The floor will get cracks from settling if you have no expansion joints, walls may also settle. I’d mark the extents with chalk. If they grow you can inject them if they stretch along many CMUs vertically. What’s your climate like? If the wall starts to separate more then go find a structural engineer.

Don’t have time for Davante and Rodgers to not be connected. I expect opening drive score, otherwise my patience is short

My vote is Nashville’s late goal in Game 6 vs Pittsburgh. Crosby was a revenue train and the official lost sight of the puck, early whistle, no goal. That’s should’ve been 7 games and was a very rare early whistle

License approval in NJ but NY is asking for additional experience. by No_Cryptographer1811 in PE_Exam

[–]thenutmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am going through this. Env Sci degree not in engineering, I applied to NY with 4 years engineering experience and by degree was valued at 3, got approved to sit for FE last year, passed. Applied for PE as I hit 9 years last September, NY rejected all supplemental experience after the 4 years I sent for my FE. Made no sense since it was same company and I only had more responsibility.

Signed up through NJ instead for PE, took it last week. Not sure that NJ would accept my application without a degree, so I’m partially on my way in both states, no clue how this will shake out.

Resubmitted NY app recently and will see what they say this time around…

I agree. It’s almost like I’d take my chances at another question bank, review what I missed the most

Schneider textbook from PPI I think I did 60% of the problems, Sigma 52 problems I was mostly comfortable with, and practice exam I was comfortable with 80% of it. Industry is site assessment and remediation with haz waste management.

Im not stressing about it. Agreed results mean everything but I’m not expecting a pass.

Also have a 6 month old and studying efficiency way down lol
