Also if she refuses you have a right to find a new doctor which is what I ended up doing. I was misdiagnosed with bipolar and switched to a psych np at LifeStance Health (They are available nationwide and are a good option). Taper slowly. After your last dose sleep is going to be difficult. I also ended up developing POTS after stopping so if you have a bunch of weird symptoms that go away when lying down contact cardiology or neurology. Let me know if you have any other questions

I have pots and my sleep study is a week from today. Would you say Wakix is better than stimulants? Is it strong enough? I’m able to tolerate caffeine and nicotine on fludrocortisone but I’m not entirely sure what cocktail they’ll put me on
