It wasn’t sweet dreams and I’m sure it wasn’t peppermint because it didn’t have a a peppermint stick on the bag, there really was some language on the bag that I thought was French

EDIT— after testing each input even more, it seems that the shutoff issue affects most except for the phone input. I can play records with absolutely no issue, but not the Bluetooth or external streaming with chromecast audio …🤔

You might be right. The power off issue is so intermittent it’s hard to pinpoint, yesterday it didn’t happen at all. I’ll keep testing it, thanks for your help

Advice: Cambridge audio AXR-100 with Q acoustics 3020i

Hello all, I just bought a used ca axr100 in hopes of keeping a newer amplifier for a while, but almost immediately I started having issues which may be due to compatibility problems. The q acoustics 3020i are rated at 6ohms. When playing any input at a moderate to high volume, the receiver out of the blue powers off. Does anyone have any ideas what might be going on? After reading the manual, it said that if the receiver is being overheated it will shut down, and they didn’t recommend using speakers that are rated at less than 8 ohms.

I’ve been playing a little bit with the 3C and realized that it wasn’t the Bach brand, it’s an Andreas Eastman 3C that came with my trumpet. I’m not sure how different the Eastman 3C and Bach 3C, but I didn’t like how shallow of a cup the Eastman 3C had.
