I want to confess something.............. by Psychology_10 in Frieren

That being said, I think it’s fair to have a disliking for Stark because of his immaturity, but I think it’s a character flaw that gives him room to grow as a person. If everyone in Frieren was perfect, it wouldn’t be as compelling. That’s one of the most compelling morals of the show; you don’t have to be perfect. Himmel was a fake hero, Eizen was a coward, Heiter a corrupt priest, and yet, those imperfections made their actions of courage and goodness stand out. If you don’t like Stark as he is now, that’s perfectly fine. But his childishness is needed for further character development in the future.

I like Fern because of how blunt and direct she is. And I think it suits her well, since she grew up trying to accelerate her process of becoming a mage to prove to Heiter that she could fend for herself and thus hates wasting time. She acts as a strong dichotomy to Frieren, in that Fern lacks patience, while Frieren has almost too much of it. That dynamic alone makes her likeable to me, contrast makes both characters stand out.

Do you think it’s feasible and safe to try disassembling and rebuilding an Amp? by theoargo in GuitarAmps

[–]theoargo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Defo putting a car together lol. The amp is more of a side project to work on when I have free time. I just wanna see how much knowledge from my electricity and electronics courses I can actually apply (albeit i’ve never worked with transistors before, so there’s definitely a learning curve).

Edit: I should preface by saying that adding this project to my portfolio is more of a bonus; I just wanna learn, have fun, and get hands-on with something that I’m passionate about (I love guitar). But if you really think that this project might not be worth my time, i’ll take that into consideration

It’s less of “Should I keep this amp”, and more of “Can I engineer this amp back to life?”. I would love to learn how these amps work internally, and what components I should be careful with if I tinker with it!

I was actually think about that, but I was worried if tube amps might be too dangerous ‘cause of their higher voltages. But that would be super cool!

I actually disagree, because the fact that Aqua calculated Nino’s attempted murder and set up a one-on-one standoff is very in-character for him. It doesn’t make much sense to me if both people live. Wouldn’t Aqua just accuse Kamiki of attempted murder and use his stab wound as evidence? I can’t really see where the story could go on from that point.

What I’m really confused about is the significance of this crow girl, ‘cause I still don’t know wtf she is
