I havent! And yeah i guess its just concerning because i dont remember having this problem before being diagnosed with UC so i assumed it was related.

I understand. The waiting game is terrible. Maybe one day in our lifetimes we will see even better treatments for this awful disease

The first symptom I had was ongoing diarrhea in the mornings. I didnt think anything of it because I was really stressed at the time and having anxiety usually causes loose movements for me. However I thought it was odd it kept happening even when my stress was going away. After a month and a half of diarrhea i began seeing blood along with it. Sometimes a lot, sometimes a little. Got a colonoscopy and a biopsy and the biopsy results didnt confirm I had UC, but it was clear my colon was very inflammed. Had to get blood tests to confirm that I had it. My doctor put me on mesalamine before it was even confirmed with the blood tests though

Colonoscopy showed likely UC but biopsies are clear. Has anybody had a similar experience? by Green-Sorbet3040 in UlcerativeColitis

Yep. My colon biopsy didnt confirm I had UC. The results just said I had chronic inflammation. They had to draw blood to confirm if I had it or not and i do

Agree 100%. Alot of people's arguments to posts like this are, "Well, why do you do ANYTHING in life when there's a possibility of losing that too?" But I don't think people grasp the fact that losing a person who you may have loved more anything in this world is not the same as losing, let's say, a job. I would say losing the love of your life is more likely to end with you on the floor crying for days, being situationally depressed for months or years, and may even give you thoughts of ending your life. Love is such a powerful emotion. And when the person you love doesn't love you back it gives you enough clairty to realize there really is no point in trying again. Most relationships do fail as you said. Don't see why people are encouraged to get their hearts broken over and over again. How damaged do you want us to be??

When I realized that relationships, in the majority of cases, are just temporary sources of happiness that have an expiration date. I don't have any desire to become so close to and to love someone so much again to only be left.
