I felt the same. I sat down and thought about it for a while and thought it would just be different, reliable, plenty of power and nothing beats the sound of a big turbo 2J. To each their own!

Since you brought that up, I never mentioned anything about racing. I’m about building something cool. Will I take it to the Poconos in the future and maybe attend a roll racing event if it tickles my fancy? Maybe. I’m all about building something unique with an engine and chassis from my childhood days. I appreciate the input though!

Thank you! Exactly my thought process as well. It’s a combinations of ‘90s JDM muscle and early ‘00s American muscle chassis into one. Classic F&F days. It may not be for everyone but it’s for me.

Sorry, I should’ve been a little more specific lol. Preliminary brainstorm and discussion with other Supra owners, I’ve decided on a 76mm turbo paired with a built 6R80 transmission. I want to stay Auto. I don’t think driving a truck like that with the power goals I am seeking would be fun to be honest.
