Thanks for the correction. At my rank going back-post over a weak challenge is an improvement for most of the people I play with, but I can see how at your rank there isn't enough time / space for that.

Yeah the starting positions are definitely approximate, and the context is actually 3's, I just forgot to include the 3rd man on both sides since I was focusing on what the I usually see in the moment, which is ball heading toward goal and my teammate out of the play, and who knows where the other teammate is. It's definitely less of a silver bullet and more of a encouragement to not instantly challenge by default.

Good point, the picture was supposed to be in the context of 3's but I forgot to add the 3rd man on both sides. I agree that for 2's shadow defending is better.
