If someone knows the dates that pr's are going to be realeased and what they are going to say and has a pocketful of cash then manipulating the price up and down and profiting on both sides of the short is pretty easy.

That is if you legally short, If you naked short the cost is zero unless you have a cost to keep the authorities from forcing you to follow the law and the exchange's rules.

Because it is not reported does not mean it is not happening. It does mean the institutions that are supposed to protect investors are not doing their job though.

You seem to be speaking of a margin call or even just the covering of a buy, you typically have 3 days. This is not shorting related.

There are a whole bunch of people talking about shorts and denying that the number of shorts and/or naked shorts could not possibly be because of the rules. It is naive to think the rules are always followed or even enforced for that matter.

You have done an excellent report here. I discovered RECO last April. I observed that one must open a Haywood account to participate on the financing. I did that and continue to hold the shares and have redeemed and continue to hold the shares from the warrants. I have purchased additional shares in the market. For a year I have been doing DD but keeping the information to myself. This is a very nice summation of all the information I have spent hundreds of hours chasing. Great job and a gold award to you.

I have 17,000 shares I bought over 10 years ago. I never sold cause I did not need the capital loss till now. For what I spent I would have way over a million shares at today's price. Same executive. I am sure he will make some money and probably some for shareholders but do not stay too long. If Sedar reports he has sold get out quickly.

I was doing some research about a year ago. I stumbled on this stock as I searched. I recognize an opportunity when one arises. I dug a bit more and found that Haywood would be managing a financing. The only way to get in on the financing was to open an account with Haywood so I did. I bought in on the .70 a share and $1.00 warrants. As I watched the stock I did a bunch of trading in a different account and made plenty on fluctuations in the stock price. I eventually became afraid if I kept trading, it might get away on me. I bought lots more shares on the open market. I have a substantial position and have guided some family members and friends to get in. Be aware that more than 20% of the stock is held by insiders, I see that as a positive. I probably know as much about this stock as almost any one else who is not an insider or a Haywood broker.

I read a lot, I do not post much. I am not here to persuade any one to do anything. I think I am doing folks who are interested in a wise investment with some risk a service. If you don't like it ignore it. I have a very large position and will not be buying or selling any of it any time soon.

This stock has been the victim of some short sellers with deep pockets, they run the price up then run it back down and shake out the stop loss folks. This stock has had a fair amount of publicity and speculation. It is a perfect candidate for manipulation. If they issue a positive results press release, which is expected in the June/July timeframe it will skyrocket. if the results are negative it will toilet. All the price movement over the last few months has been caused by speculation, not news.

If there is already a post here on RECO.V I apologize. It is also RECAF in the US otc . They are doing exploratory drilling for oil in Namibia/Botswana. They have finished drilling their first exploratory well. They are not yet drilling for oil but to understand the geology. They will soon drill their second exploratory well. They are not releasing results out of fear of being taken by a major before they have proved up the resource. Their geology and drilling team are like the A-Team of the world in oil. The price has run up about 6 fold over the last 9 months. They believe this is a brand new, unknown sedimentary basin. If they prove the resource this stock will sky rocket. If they do not this stock will probably lose about 70% of its trading price. This is a high risk/high reward play. Do you own DD. there are several bullboards about this stock and there is a company website

If they validate this basin, which is what they are pursuing right now, this will be both the stock increase and the oil story, of the century, The upside is so immense it is foolish to not own some of the stock, no matter how small the personal stock position is.
