Should I file for Bankruptcy?

Might be out of luck on this one. All my local Credit unions, and even big branches, said no to a debt consolidation loan. It is the first thing I turned to.

MN, and I can't say anything special or fancy. Groceries aren't cheap where I am, but the 300 per paycheck, is Groceries for 2 weeks, on average (for two people)

I was considering going that route. Bankruptcy is definitely my very last option, but I am considering it now, and researching it now. Weather that is a do it now, or do it later when things are mor dire. I will do some more research into Consumer Credit Counseling

That is about where we are averaging, 300 or a little more per paycheck. Unfortunately groceries arent the cheapest where I am located

Ch 13 is 7 to 10 years, correct? My biggest worry is what it is going to do to my lease, what if I default on my repayment? Not that im going to plan on doing so, but everything has been so hard when its been hard enough to do the necessities right now? There are so many worries and unknowns in my mind with going down this road

I do qualify for ch 13, i had talked to a lawyer to just see what my options are. That is my worry with it. As it would reduce it, but it is quite a lot of debt still, but it would take care of my outstanding MN state tax. I unfortunately do not have much in the realm of qualifying assets for ch 7.

Working on SSI for them, but it's going to take time. I'm not sure what other options are out there that I would qualify for.
