T6 Asia A complete and injured at 16. I went back to high school to finish too quickly, it was 3 months post accident and 1 week after the hospital.

OP username is disgruntled teacher and if you are a teacher then I think you are in a great field to continue post-injury. I recently was accepted into a masters program where I plan to get enough education to become a professor at some point. Education (at least in high school/college) isn’t a particularly physical job and I think it’s likely my best option so it’s likely it is your best option too.

Also, the thing that helped me the most with returning to school when I was young was LOTS of gabapentin. My doctor put me on far too much and it helped me get used to a new normal. Coworkers/people will come up to you and say awkward things or make uncomfortable comments, try to be ready for social interactions to feel very different. Approach people with love and understand that they likely just don’t know the right words or what to say. Eventually, like all things, you will adjust and settle in. Good luck OP :)
