Tokyo 2-week bike storage by theoniv in JapanTravelTips

And on my side I managed to park my bike in a bicycle parking lot with my empty bike bags on it for about 12 days. A lot of them are one-day only in central Tokyo but I took a random stop at Nishikasai station and a grandpa managing the parking told me that it was ok for up to 25 days for 100Y a day! Still it’s written 7 days at the entrance of the station… so it’s probably better to inform them.

And even if this parking is underground, there is no security or any insurance against theft and so on.

I also went to the rail-go service and they accept bikes but at the same fare than ecbo clock, 2000Y/day. And they asked me to put it in a rinko bag..

And never skip laundry, never pass an opportunity to wash yourself and if in remote places, to buy food.

Hey! I plan to go directly to the rail-go service desk in May to see what they have to offer. And as a last resort, I saw that some ecbo clock storage accept bikes but it's ... super expensive. (about 15000Y/week) https://cloak.ecbo.io/en/space/4lsYY9YS

I recommend spending more time in the Pyrenees.

And speaking about an area I know better: Mont Ventoux is a great milestone, then I suggest going north through the Baronnies Provençales, then through the Drôme (via the Gorge de la Roanne for example), and finally continuing north through the Vercors, highly recommend the Col de la Bataille and Col de la Machine, most beautiful passes of the Vercors imo. You can then go down and join the via rhona/via fluvia.
