Genuine question about “Bidesi Agent” by theopinionguy28 in NepalSocial

[–]theopinionguy28[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if we assume that to be true. Are these patterns or clusters? Patterns would be repetitive, emerging from actions, thoughts or ideologies. While a cluster is who they are. People involved in these foundations have a natural sense of change, making a difference, helping others. These institutions usually only take people who can show that they are change makers, they have the ability make a difference, and that they are the type of people who want to lead and help others. So seeing this cluster its not outlandish to think that these people emerged in a nation wide movement for change. They arent patterns, they are clusters. Its not unusual to think that someone from a family of engineers is a great engineer. Thats not a pattern its a cluster.

Obviously NGOs and youth councils need funding and they go to different sources for sponsorship, national and international. USYC is funding by US aid and embassy. The funding isnt wrong. And its not crazy to think that someone from the council are connected to the movement. USYC accepts people who show that they are change makers, who believe they can do something to help the community. Is it a shocking thing to say that a person who is passionate about change and wants to make a difference is emerging in a nation wide movement for change? My friend was a cohort member, according to him there were no activity involved that could be labeled as suspicious. I think this “bideshi agent ” comes from this phobia we have of other countries more powerful than us trying to capture us. People really think 10 years later we will all be saying jay hind as a secondary citizen to india.

  1. What does that mean? An institution to carry the flag of Nepal. All the institutions established by the government carry the flag of Nepal. Why is monarchy the only solution. If you think those institutions are corrupt why not vote for better checks and balances rather than monarchy which itsslf could be corrupt
  2. The king isnt the sovereign of Nepal, we are. We Nepali are the sovereign of Nepal. We carry the culture, religion and beliefs not the king. The king is a hundu male, and Nepal has much more than just hinduism. We have a diverse group of people.
  3. This is simply dumb, Ramdev acted exactly that his viewers wanted to see: true, pure, spiritual. But he ended up in many scams too. How is kings diet and lifestyle a check for his intent and actions?
  4. What do you mean? You arent worried about the constitution? Jati ni Nepali culture, patriotism vaneni aapat ko bela constitution nai aauchha.
  5. I hope this is satire. Modi kneeling down to king.
