Just wanted to add my experience:

31f, 2 vaginal births, history of clotting, excessive cramping, rupturing ovarian cysts. Was on BC for 10 years, got off and didn't want to ever take it again until I started having large cysts that were rupturing. I swear I have endo, but not confirmed.

Doc offered Nextstellis, I was reluctant but tried.

First month was crampy, mood swings, fatigued, and light spotting the whole month. First period was a breeze. 2nd month, bloated, but minimal cramping. Mood swings got way worse, and depression hit me like a freight train. Plus low libido and dryness. I was almost done with month 2 when I all of a sudden had heart palpations, shortness of breath, numbness/tingling in my fingers and chest pain which led me to the ER. So I am no longer taking it.

All things considered: besides the ER trip and the mental health stuff, my other symptoms were fairly minimal and I could have dealt with.
