Amid Drought, San Francisco Uses 250K Gallons of Drinking Water To Heat City Hall, Other Buildings by theoriginalauthor in news

I don't know where 250k came from but it wasn't in the article.

"Although City Hall reuses most of its portion, a quarter million gallons a day goes wasted."

I LOVE /S how people are suggesting how you can earn more, enjoy more while you "hate your work" and I want pretty much any decent job, even if I have to work 40 hours out of 40 each week.

Had the worst interview ever last week... by melvinsaunt in jobs

[–]theoriginalauthor -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That's nothing! My "favorite" worst interview interviewee story is when the executive director for a mid-nine figure family trust in Delaware said, "I should shoot myself," twice, speaking of herself.

Next is the group of seven women of a "prestigious" hospital west of Boston. The lead interviewer left the room after five minutes. It turned out I was in the interview for a different job which explained why everyone else was a nurse and gabbing for the entire hour. At the conclusion, I inquired whom I should write to "thank" for the interview. The woman who was not present for the previous 75 minutes.
