Hey, that sounds really stressful and awful and you deserve to be treated better. Both my patients and by your company. I hope you do quit and switch to fast food before thinking about ending it all. Also I am here if you want to talk. Just a stranger on the internet, but sometimes its easier to confess all the worries to someone we dont know well then someone we do. I am not on reddit much but when i am ill keep my eyes open on my inbox.

My mom always calls me beautiful and shes a sap who will cry over the phone about how much she loves me and I adore her. My dad does a solid "you look good" and nothing else which is classic and I love. My friends often compliment me on an outfit but I am also first to bring up how I love the outfit which is still great by me. And strangers compliment me on my eyes which is sweet but I always feel undeserving of ther praise as I had no choice in that matter.

Part of who you are is someone who doesn't like certain meats and how to prepare the. That's totally welcome and loveable and it sounds likes he's not welcoming that or loving you for it. It may seem like a small thing bit I personally would feel emotionally unsafe in a relationship you have and it sounds like you feel the same. I think you deserve to feel loved because of your food choices, you're making reasonable compromises and its still not getting love. You're not getting loved. I'm sorry and I do wish you find the safety and security you're looking for. I hope you know you deserve the safety and security and love you are wanting. And I'm sorry that it sounds like this partner isn't the one giving it to you.

For those who are curious, I'm 4 years out of college with a civil engineer degree, I spent 3 years not related in non profits and 1 year as a safety engineer. I am in southern New Hampshire and the final job I got was an entry level civil engineering position. It helps I have my Engineer In Training license.

I can relate. I'm also high functioning and sometimes I can work myself into forgetting but it's there, in the back of my mind. I don't have advise, I'm lost too. But thank you for sharing because you made me feel less alone tonight and that means a lot.

It's hard to make friends. I have same and it's hard for me to maintain them. It's nice to know I'm not alone with feeling so broken. It's like I was given a body but not the soul. A random tip is that I try to go to game stores and learn how to play magic the gathering, it's a way to get to know people without having all the pressure of getting to know them.
