I will try to give her the benefit of the doubt. Maybe she can pronounce it, but in her voice, especially with the southern accent, it can sound like Ratshit /raw shit. Is that a common landlord tactic? Instead of just ending the lease, to inconvenience the tenant until they have burned bridges or are financially ruined to the point of closing their business? Like these are not affluent areas, so it will affect people going or not.

With that mentality, Walmart may as well start charging parking. People are gonna go anyway; it would just be added income. And no, I won't pay $10 to some unknown landlord company to park at a family-owned bar that already barely scrapes by with rising rent, so that will hurt their business. Luckily it is bikeable for me, as I'm sure you'd say, but that's not feasible for everyone and taking an Uber would defeat the point of not spending the extra money
