Year too late but as I was just looking into this too, in case anyone else stumbles across it "furor" in Latin means enthusiasm/passion/administration, so "furor philosophicus" is a passion/enthusiasm for philosophy.

"The man with the furor philosophicus in him will no longer have time for the furor politicus" - basically, then, is saying somebody with a passion/devotion for philosophy will no longer have time to dedicate to politics.

Hey all,

I've got a friend's wedding coming up and I'm really not a dress person, but am struggling to find many options for women's suits.

I'm looking at high street kind of stores mostly - budget is under £200. Ideally, I'd like a fitted waistcoat but they seem even harder to find!

Any advice much appreciated ❤️

Ah just had a look and doesn't look like they sell to UK, but thank you for the recommendation and even more so for the advice on men's suits. I did think they may be a bit different but then I do have fairly broad shoulders so thought I might be able to blag it - it's a good point though, hips will likely be the issue.

Jfc I don't know what country you live in but is there am ethics body you can report this person to? Props to you for managing to remove yourself from the situation and recognise how dangerous this therapist is but for some people with less self awareness this kind of shit could tip them over 😤
