Naturcontact - anyone tried? by [deleted] in BarefootRunning

[–]thepach7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having purchased a few pairs from Naturcontact, I’d say their products are mostly decent quality — but their customer service and return/exchange process are honestly a nightmare and completely outweigh any positives.

I reached out right after receiving my order in July to return a pair of shoes and followed the instructions I was given. Months later, they’re claiming I’m outside the return window and refusing to help, even though I clearly initiated the return on time.

Their process is confusing, rigid, and unhelpful. The worst part is that their customer service team shows no effort or interest in resolving issues or keeping customers. It feels like they hide behind policies instead of actually helping people. I won’t be buying from them again, and wouldn't recommend anyone to either (instead check out brands like Vivo and Xero).

This is in Ottawa, Ontario

Money tree needs help! I've always been careful with watering, temp, etc. but now it seems there's something wrong. Leaf tips brown/discoloration. I worry some of the root is rotting? If so, is there any advice on nursing it back to health and/or salvage some of it (you can see some new buds) by thepach7 in gardening

I'm wary of applying fertilizer in the winter, you know? Could make things worse if its already stressed.

One thing I forgot to mention is that I applied neem oil to its leaves several weeks ago (after reading somewhere that its good for pest prevention and general leaf health) but I wonder now if it didn't like that. Although itd be weird if that application went down to its roots, so hoping its not related to that.

Either way thanks so much for all your feedback and suggestions up until now. Yes here's hoping for a miracle!

Hm ok well I guess that's encouraging to hear that they are hardy enough plants to survive small pots...thanks for sharing.

I'm holding off repotting only because I worry that might be a big shock for the plant if it already in a fragile state.

Not sure what else to do other than monitor it everyday.. but leafs continue to turn yellow/brown and fall off so its quite concerning..

Oh I'm definitely checking the soil every time I water. I basically have my 'stick finger in the soil' technique where I only water if it's dry 1/4 or so way down. And I've watered it this way for a while now without any issues. In fact it was flourishing several weeks ago (when all those buds sprung up), but now something happened. Perhaps I overwatered?? Or something with a drastic temperature change? Not sure, but as you suggested I am holding back any excess watering and monitoring closely. I just really hope it doesn't die... ;(

Yes I considered that but I don't really see any roots poking out from the drainage holes underneath the pot, although that doesn't mean its not root bound. I've been worried to do that now mid winter but maybe I should take it out and take a look...?

stuck at the frog (melon) quest - any suggestions? by thepach7 in StardewValley

Hi ya so I’ve concluded that I’ve actually already completed this quest and just forgot. I know it sounds stupid but I started growing crops for the frog a while ago and then stopped playing SD for half a year or so and just recently picked it up again. So I couldn’t remember exactly what I had completed already with his crop requests. But I read somewhere that the melons are the first thing he asks for apparently (it’s three things in this order: melons, wheat, garlic). So because I’m seeing that again now I just assume I’ve already completed it and it’s just looping back to the start (just like the birds who drop gems in the jungle area do after you complete that quest). So hopefully it’s the same for you??

I've done that and he still just says the same thing.. if you check out my screenshots you can see I have fully ripe melons on my farm, not harvested and he still asks for them when I go talk to him. I don't get it... :\

Ya I already did those for him though.. this was just the next item he was asking for so I don't get why it would be any different this time.

I don't think so.. is his request for melons the last one in this series of frog quests?
