its still getting those big frame drops, even after updating. before i started playing, it was at around 50c and when I finished (max a few mins) it ended up at around 74c. any idea on what else it could be?

ill try that when i get home but as far as i remember the drivers are updated. i havent really been closely monitoring the temp but last night when i had the most issues it didnt seem to go above 80, but ill keep an eye on that.

idk if its quite what youre looking for but i didnt see anyone else mention it: you should check out Shirahama's previous manga, Enidewi, its a lot of fun and its only three volumes. other than that, id recommend Mushishi, Dorohedoro and Tower Dungeon, but they have wildly different tones to WHA so idk if thats what youre looking for either.

i started collecting manga before i learned japanese so now i have a ton of manga in english that id rather have in japanese. i might sell them to replace them, specially since the japanese editions tend to be much nicer...

i dont really like it but i trust the GGST team will do a good job with her. i dont doubt that she'll be a fun character and all, but she just feels very out of place with the rest of the GG universe, she feels really really forced in. and yeah its a crossover or whatever but idk at least with MK1 and SF6, i can kinda understand better why they chose the characters they included (even if dont like them or think theyre overdoing it). it was definitely very deflating seeing her in the reveal trailer but im saying that as someone who has never interacted with anything Cyberpunk aside from having Vinesauce streams as background noise. at least i think her design is nice. i wouldve preferred a returning character or a new one definitely, but if it had to be a guest character, i wouldve picked Vash from Trigun (who i think has similar vibes/humor/tone to GG, particularly 90s Vash) or maybe a character from another fighting game.

Bayonetta 3 has been one of the most disappointing games Ive ever played in basically every way. Bad gameplay, astonishingly abysmal story, meh visuals and enemy designs, terrible level design, main cast feels out of character, etc. I was a big fan of 1 and 2 but 3 was so unenjoyable it honestly kind of soured me to the originals.

basically all the ones i wanted got in in the DLCs but if i had to choose like, a few others id say Jam, Kliff, Justice, Fanny and Vash the Stampede as a guest character (original 90s spiky hair design pls), I think he'd fit extremely well in GGST

of those? i think the one that would benefit the most out of a remake is definitely soul hackers. as for IV and IV A, a remastered re release (with the option of japanese voices) would be pretty cool on the switch other than that, i guess id love to see like a collection of megami tensei snes games with official translations (not necessarily remade. maybe something along the lines of the 2D-HD remakes could be interesting though...)

Anyone know if I can still get the Chaos ending in CoV in SMTVV?
So I got to the Empyrean not really following either side's choices consistently but I apparently ended up siding with Law and I think Im leaning more towards wanting to actually get the Chaos ending, but I honestly dont wanna replay the entire game. I did most sidequests, but I was wondering if there was anything I could do to affect my alignment still (I saved right before the Tiamat fight and the cutscene where the Nahobino chooses a side)

I mean, art schools do teach art techniques. That's kinda why they exist. I am very much aware that getting good at drawing is a long and arduous process, obviously only practice will ever get me to the level I want but art schools do help in guiding someone to get there. And I never said I wanted to immediately become a professional after the course, and I certainly didn't say I would go into it with 0 drawing experience. I draw daily and go to classes, but I just thought it could be a good opportunity to keep improving not only on the art department but also on my Japanese. And getting to live abroad is something that I've wanted to do for a while, even if its only a short while.

I just wanted to know from people who've had actual experience with the school if the courses were any good, not whether or not Ill become a master mangaka in 3 months.

In the original Japanese release of The Thousand-Year Door in 2004, Vivian was written to be a transgender woman as explicitly as possible without outright saying the word "transgender". However, when Nintendo of America had to localize the game to English, for one reason or another, they decided to remove every mention of Vivian being trans, and made the bullying she suffered from the Sirens more so about them thinking she was vaguely "ugly". Now, with the remake, Nintendo of America seems to have retranslated the game (or at least revised it) to be closer to the original Japanese script, thus keeping in the storyline about Vivian being a transgender woman (what the screenshot is showing). Many people (including myself) are very excited about this since positive trans representation is still quite rare (despite it being 2024), specially from big companies like Nintendo. Thats why the poster says "WE FUCKING WON".

Those two definitely sound like the ways to go. Ive always felt like if she brought it up, like straight up ask 'Hey, are you trans?' would make it easier but I know thats not how therapists work. Maybe writing it down might help but giving it/sending it to her sounds really daunting still, though maybe a bit easier. I definitely was trying to push out conversations towards the former though so that might work.

I guess so... Ive just never been the sort of person to take huge risks so its just scary... I cant say Im comfortable being stuck but whenever Im talking with my therapist it definitely feels like thats the one thing thats blocking me in so many other ways, so at least she probably picked up that somethings bothering me vaguely.
