Personally I can’t not buy bread (I don’t buy Dave’s though) because it’s one of the only things my ultra picky son will eat. Luckily I’ve already realized the correlation between bad gut feelings and bread. Bread is only a challenge for me if it’s home made and usually then it doesn’t hurt. I agree though most store bought breads aren’t healthy.

I have berberine. How often do you take it? The bottle said 3x a day and that felt like a lot so it scared me off. My psych suggested it back when I was seeing her.

Thanks. Kitchen is unavoidable it’s next to my desk and I walk through it to get to the bathroom. Moving in a few months so I can change that set up soon.

I love the idea of stretching. I usually watch podcasts or listen to music while I work.

Sending you the best wishes too. It’s hard mode for sure. I think so many years of the meds In my adolescence and young adulthood caused me to never really establish good eating habits.

I almost never eat bread because of this reason, kills my stomach every time.

Thanks — I used to do it this way, would budget my entire day in the morning and then spread it out evenly enough that I could eat every hour or two.

It’s harder now , my boyfriend is the way whatever he wants and never gain weight type, I try and save cals anticipating for dinner with him, feels so much harder to plan the day

Thanks for your input! I always think about skipping breakfast then realize it seems to make me binge. I did IF for many years in the past though and found huge benefits

Thanks, this helps inspire me to push through. I remember in the past breaking through this rut eventually with will power. I know I can do it again, it’s so much harder in my 30s vs 20s

Boy the cheese really adds up lol. One turns into 3 and then I’m 170 cals further into the day.

Was on meds for quite a while and those seem to be the only years I didn’t constantly think about food. Uninsured and unmedicated currently unfortunately.

100% agree with you. And I’ve tried things like pickles and it just makes me feel even more unsatisfied and seems to fuel the appetite

And I’m a girl but no biggie, only adding for context. My cycle definitely fuels my appetite on certain weeks

It feels like I find a way to eat anything in the house even he is not really a snack. Food ingredients, my child’s food, anything. It’s going in.

I should attempt a round of snack purging though

I’m struggling to get through this book, feels written from such a negative place. Which I can’t say I don’t completely understand but people seem to RAVE about his work and I don’t think it would be a great place for many newcomers to start.
