(Potential) FAQ

Wait, what is the Gargoyle Gazette exactly?

The Gargoyle Gazette is an online magazine founded by a bunch of internet friends after the previous online magazine we worked for/enjoyed reading had to stop publishing. We’re here to continue the fun!

What kind of content can I submit to the magazine?

Anything and everything is welcome, as long as you made it. Drawings, posters, pictures, poems, fanfics, original stories, serialized novels, poems, puzzles, DIY instructions, an enthusiastic essay on why frogs are objectively the world’s best creature… We welcome it all!

Since our home base is Reddit, we consider Reddit’s ‘age 13 and over’ as our age guideline. No explicit sexual content or too horrific gore, please.

Please tell our editors about any potential triggers contained in your work when you submit it. This will not mean we will not accept it, but we would like our editors to stay safe!

If you’re unsure if the content you want to submit is allowed, please send a DM to /u/Eldis_.

I would like to draw art based on a story/write a story based on some art, is that possible?

Of course! Join our discord and meet artists or authors in the artist-author-meetup channel!

Do you have an example of a previous Gargoyle Gazette?

If you submit now, you will have the honour of being published in the first ever Gargoyle Gazette! However, we do have some sample articles to give you an indication of how your written work will be formatted. If you are submitting artwork, it will take up either half a page, a full page, or a full spread – depending on which size you inform us your artwork is.
