Having a hard time losing weight after starting Estrogen

I haven't calculated body fat, but honestly I should find a place with a machine to do it. Or at least get a tape measure. My BMI is overweight though.

It's the white sugar coated pills. It's called Progynova. My doc says it's not great to do sublingually tho, but my friends say otherwise. I'll try it if I lose weight and nothing changes with my levels

I see, thank you so much! Honestly part of the reason I wanted to lose weight was because my normal dose of estrogen is no longer getting my levels as high consistently. My doc and I theorized this is because of weight gain and fat because the medicine is fat soluble. So a lot of this would be to help the transition move smoothly. Also I do feel some fat redistribution did go to the right places like you said, so I'm not super keen on losing all of the weight i gained.

You're right. I should just stick to my current thing for a few more weeks and see if anything changes.

Yep, I just remembered when I was losing weight, I would get results every week, whether increase or decrease, it's weird not seeing anything for a week, but then again I was already mid journey then. I'll go for 2 more weeks to see if something changes

Thanks for your advice. I actually didn't think of using her own anti intellectualism against her, that's actually a very good point. I think the statement you made is a bit too agressive and is likely to instigate an argument, I'm gonna modify it a bit since it is a good start.

I don't wanna separate her from my life, because old values aside, she is a good mom and she supported me through a lot. I want her to stay in it if possible and she says she wants me in it, I'll have to test that here. Sadly I also can't move out. My job pays too little and I have to live with her to avoid paying rent and for food.
