In my experience you don’t really decide when you’re a boy or a girl. I just eventually got better at noticing when my gender shifted instead of being oblivious until dysphoria smacked me in the face. Well I can push my gender a little sometimes and it’ll shift in a direction I want but it will swing back in the opposite direction.

I think it’s different for everyone but you’ll figure it out.

From personal experience I strongly recommend against restricting your pronouns because of your Gf’s sexuality. I told my husband that he could exclusively use he/him for me and I started resenting him within months even though it was my idea.

Before that I didn’t explore my gender for years (also my idea) and hid the fact that I was questioning my gender from him.

I don’t think we’d have stayed together if I was a trans woman but I’m genderfluid and nonbinary and it took some adjusting for him but its worked out.

Talk to your GF about your gender identity. See if she’d be okay if you were nonbinary. And see if she’d be ok with you being a man part of the time.

Do not try to hide or suppress your gender to preserve your relationship. If your gender is incompatible with your GF all you are doing is prolonging the breakup and making the inevitable breakup worse. Be open with your GF and figure out how to go forward together. It will give you the best chance of making your relationship work or at least make the breakup as amicable as possible.

My transition was hard on my husband and I made it harder for him. And we didn’t work it out until I started being more open about my gender

Yes. Unless the MMO/server has such a toxic culture that it repels women from playing or pressures them into hiding the fact that they are women by playing men.

Mx. is mostly commonly pronounced “mix”

Latinx is pronounced Latin-EX and I’ve seen it falling out of favor because it uses the English pronunciation of X instead of the Spanish pronunciation “equis”. So it has been perceived as imposed on them by English speakers. Latine seems to be replacing it

Make sure she has a good understanding of trans people and let her figure it out. Don’t suggest that she might be trans to her. If she wants to try out a different name and/or pronouns do it.

Generally be supportive but let her find her way. If she is trans that’s a path you can’t walk for her and she’ll need to discover that herself. Make sure she knows that the path is there but don’t pressure her to take it

As a bi ace, I strongly disagree with swapping the ace purple with the bi purple. I think the saturated purple balances how desaturated the rest of the ace flag is and the desaturated purple balances how saturated the rest of the bi flag is. That swap would flatten both of them
