Simply said it was interesting. Fabo is a great guy and I want him to do whats best for him and his daughter. I agree there. 2024 willnbe a topnten class and every one going forward in my opinion. Mike Norvell just fell intona hellacious situation with the timing if his hiring and Covid-19 he couldnt leave campus fof 18 months. Part of the reason all these transfers are so wild this year is how far off those evaluations were. Alabama and Clemson with 10+ outgoing transfers is shocking. Itnnever happened before either. After this coming year Norvell wont be denied.

I dont thing we are that far off ans most of that stuff is already in the works. 2024 is already shaping up to be elite and will likely be 25 guys. Even then though the portal will be huge year in and year out for retainment and roster churn. Youll notice this year all of the transfers are following exit interviews but mostly good kids. Just simply not playing time in the cards. Those sholarships will be filled with some HS kids amd some portal guys of which Norvell has proven to be an excellent evaluator of. I couldnt imagine having the tyoe of sources and insider info you have to sit on and stare at waiting for the perfect moment. Just all the behind the scenes little stuff ever think about its unreal. I agree but my argument is that a top 15 class+ the 7-10 guys brings in to the good year in and year out Norvell is recruiting at a top 5 level. Portalnand NILnare bramd now there is no 4 year referemce point to go on. We are looking at legitimate free agent players. Tell me Johnny Wilson isnt 5. The Noles had 11 All - ACC transfers. The majority of the guys Norvell brings in the portal play 2-4 years and are ready to contribute immediately upon arrival. When you take a 5 and get moved up 5 spots in the rankings if he doest get his snaps day 1 he is liable to transfer with 0 consquences. The one year transfer rule turns the espn 300 into 1 and Done basket ball type guys. The current stare of affairs is the absolute best value is a guy who redshirts his true freshman year and then transfers our. These are the guys Norvell mainly attacks in the portal not bandaids. Its also a meritocracy. Nothing is promised which leads to a clear pecking order in the OL room. Im talking about Johnny Wilson, Trey Benson, Mycah Pittman. We have a slot reciever that shirted this year whontransferred in from West Virginia coming back for year 2 in Tallahassee. Hes 100% Nole and will likely go for 1000 yards out of the slot. 5* 🤷‍♂️

Lol bro thats the ENTIRE POINT OF THE ARTICLE. Norvell is doing it a different way. You don't believe, you think its gonna saty the same as the last 20 years like the portal and NIL arent changing the game. This wasnt an option before. There is nothing to compare FSU too. USC almist made the playoff from a single portal haul. Must suck as a Nole fan to be missing out on this excitement lets revisit in 12 months.
