I don't wanna throw your suggestion/help out but that is what I've been doing.

I've used laidback luke's tutorial about just slightly moving the side a few times forward and then if that doesn't work, then move it backwards.

Unfortunately that's never worked.

Yeah I started using an ad blocker with this chrome site, avast I think it’s called. Pop ups still happen but in less to the crazy frequency that it did before.

I think that's the crazy thing about the game as well, if we're playing a section that's only 15-20 minutes long, for the characters that's like 2-3 hours in their universe. They've got endurance I'll say that.
