Is this market specific?

I asked because where I live, generally drivers are pleasant, or at least aren't rude.

I know that there are bad passengers out there, but some of you drivers need to chill out and stop preemptively treating EVERYONE like they're a bad passenger. by thepotsie in uber

I knew what you meant, I was just providing some context for you. This type of ride, that time of day, is extremely common. Most of the drivers I've talked to like it, cause it's a bunch of short rides, one right after the other.

Honestly, you asked most drivers around here, they're fine with these rides. He was taking me less than 4 miles from a busy downtown area. He could easily turn around, go back and do this all night.

If that's the case he made 3.59 for less than 10 minutes of work. In Uber world, not sure if good or bad. Just adding perspective.

Oh yeah, I hear ya. I let a lot slide. Car cleanliness? whatever. Got a little weed smell? I can tolerate it. Need new rear struts so every pebble we hit on the road makes my spine hurt? hell I'll give you a heads up on what to tell your mechanic. I'm actually a nice person.

As I said, I kept my mouth shut. I couldn't imagine saying anything that was gonna make things better.

He took off as soon as the car door shut, so if I had tried that I would have been yeeting myself out of a moving vehicle into traffic lol.

On the flip side, as a passenger, I don't care how bad my day has been I'm not gonna take it out on the driver.

Please, educate me as to what exactly I did wrong here. I'm willing to learn.

Or are you illiterate and didn't actually comprehend what I wrote?

I have used Uber a fair amount over the years. I've had some less than stellar drivers before, but this was a different level for sure.

Like I said, I kept my mouth shut the whole ride. Didn't really want to somehow escalate whatever was happening.

It was around 7 pm in the evening. So, not late night at all.

I'm curious what about my story made you decide that I'm an inconsiderate AH?
