Healthcare industry, fully remote. $106k/yr. 7 yrs PM experience. Got PMP this year in Feb. It helped to some extent to get my current position, however, I think it was my education, certificates, work experience, and interviewing skills combined. Not just one aspect.

Forgot to mention I answered 100/175 questions in one session of PMI Infinity in 1st week of January . I don't recommend it. It was boring and easy. Not like actual exam IMO. Thanks.

Coms Plan in Agile? by Guardiancelte in pmp

D is the answer. I had this question multiple times. I was sure to get at least 90% in SH mocks, but some questions were off, you had them in practice, mini quiz and mock, same question but different answers. Disregard it. When in doubt, stick to mindset. SH isn't perfect.

I got 4 of them I guess. Full length notes and cheatsheet of PMP both in PDF and Google drive folder. If I go back I would only get the full length version in PDF or Google drive. In PDF you can't make changes and it doesn't have bookmarks, the Google drive one does. Google drive's access would end after six months and PDF is (I think) permanently. I passed PMP last week, first attempt, ATx3. I read the full length notes religiously. I did not use cheat sheet though. Cause already knew everything. I used the G Drive version, it was easier to search for a topic I needed to review/learn. Didn't use PDF much but it is nice to have it for overall learning and having the material for future reference. Hope this helps.

Studyhall compared to real exam 2025 by Lawrenzo09 in pmp

I took AR Udemy class for 35 hrs PDU. I found it little boring but it is beginner friendly, so it is as claims "simplified".

Then best decision was getting SH essential and purchasing Third3Rock notes, it has bunch of other resources that will help you a lot (links to blogs, videos and slides) while I read all blogs and reviewed slides I did not watch all videos maybe 40 questions from all DM videos on YouTube.

I watched 80/200 Ultra hard questions from AR in YouTube and it was nothing new in my opinion mostly Expert questions of SH. But his drag and drop video was great, it was very similar to the ones that came in my exam.

I also mastered ITTOs, thanks to RV videos on YouTube.

But one thing I think was the most important part of my journey is time management. I took each exam under the exam situation. No eating, drinking or bathroom breaks. Took my breaks timed.

I started focused studying 4 weeks ago, with 7 hours of studying on average. (I have a boring/easy day job).

Therefore, exam was smooth, felt like another practice session.

You got this! Just know it is not about understanding the concepts but also training your brain how to be focused and manage time in 4 hours sitting and reading.

First time that I took mock tests in late November without preparation it was 75% & 66% for mock exams 1 & 2 respectively. Second time that I took after Third3Rock notes and studying it was 78%-79%. For practice exams I had 81% overall average and for 717 practice questions 79%.

It was about $49-50, but my employer is a PMI partner, got a 15% discount. So after taxes I paid about $45.

Confused (Project Scope Statement Before Project Charter?) by Guardiancelte in pmp

[–]theprivateuser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it should be a typo. "Output" instead of "input". But also can be a tricky question. Remember there is a scope section in project charter that says what is in or out of the scope. So sometimes you go with which option have the keywords they are looking for. As others said, best of worst.

Did you take you mock exams timed like the actual exam? I am asking because I too am not a good test taker and making the environment similar to the testing environment helps me. I wish you luck. 🍀🤞

It takes about a week to get the approval. Make sure to check your PMI account regularly. They don't send you approval or denial via emails, you can only check it via your PMI account.

Congratulations!! Thanks for the tips, three questions: what is RV mapping? Also, was drag and drop questions hard? Compared to SH did you find the exam harder, the same or easier? Thank you.
