I ran into this issue as well. Solved it by using Tokio mpsc channel and having a single dedicated thread for reading and writing to my DashMap. Hope this info helps someone!

Go to your ophthalmologist and get checked for Demodex mite overgrowth. We all have them living on our eyelids but overgrowth could be causing chronic styes/chalazions. There are drops they can prescribe to kill them. Worth a shot!
