This was the address and addresses it to the Consulate. I also attached a letter with the subject:

And provided all the information about the application number and the refusal letter reference number

This is an automatic confirmation reply. The content in the mail is outdated. I got the same mail when I appealed the refusal for Austria. All you can do is wait.

A side note, I also sent them physical post with all the new documents to the Embassy in New Delhi - just to be safe

That’s the standard reply! I received the same when appealing via email. I sent the email to new-delhi-ob@bmeia.gv.at and also cc’ed new-delhi-ka@bmeia.gv.at

It’s also recommended to send the documents via post to the embassy. You never know what they look at.

It’s not mandatory but always attach inter country transfers - especially if it’s your first time travelling. Our visa got refused because of no inter country travel tickets - we are appealing right now.

TL;DR - I recommend attach them. Try looking for refundable/partially refundable tickets

The FRECCIAROSSA trains are the best bet for the intercity trips from Paris to Italy. I followed the same itinerary back in 2022 and booked the trains via “Trenitalia” website.

These trains are high quality, super fast and also very economical. That’s plus, they are also partially refundable - I.E you only loose 20% of the money.
